Greater Bergen Community Action is run by people who chose to spend their careers building this agency: family workers who became directors, caseworkers who became chiefs. Below are the people responsible for the agency’s strategy, programs, finances, and board.
Greater Bergen Community Action is governed by a seventeen-member tripartite Board of Directors, as required by federal Community Action statute. One third public-sector officials, one third representatives elected by low-income residents of our service area, and one third private-sector leaders. Together they hold the agency accountable to the communities it serves.
